Seaside wonders

Some days are just magical portals letting us glimpse the new world. Friday was a day full of wonders. Mist, rain, sun are combining to make magic operate from a natural weather.

I walked several miles on the beach between Saint-Michel-en-Grève and Saint-Efflam. Saint Efflam came here from Ireland in a curragh, many centuries ago.

I care about the sanderling sandpipers,
trying not to disturb them
While I walk on the dark mirror

Most of the time an inch of water covered the sand, and I had to cross a creek. I got rain, hail, wind and sun. The light changed in seconds, transforming the dramatic scenery.

This large waxed floor is an invitation to dance between earth and sky.

The seascape now is rubbed with steel wool.

Sea rustles on the shore
While the clouds brown in the steel sky,
Something gonna happen.

Now a door is opening under a rainbow. I can almost see Brighid, the goddess of the thresholds welcoming me to the land of wonders.
