Hidden maintenance charges in Houses and Plot schemes.

Real Estate business is always a highly fragile market that ever came into its existence, this market will always give you profit no matter how small you have invested but I want to share my real estate experience with you all. Recently I have been a real estate business since past few months, I observed a number of things that should not be forced upon customers, for example, if a guy purchases a plot of 500sq yards had complete his all payments within the time period that have been subjected in the agreement that's completely fine. Now consider that guy had paid all of his dues of the plot he just bought and after some time he wants to sell it. Now the main twist starts this happen with my father too as he owns a plot of 250 sq yards and was interested to sell it but when we reached to the head office of that society, they tell us we had to pay maintenance charge. Wait! maintenance of a plot which has so boundary wall, no signboards, not equipped with the connection of utilities but still they need maintenance, for the sake of the argument let us consider that we have built a house on that plot then we can assume the maintenance charges can apply over it but its a bare land how can an owner had to pay maintenance for land that does not have any utilities while those charges stated that they are for utilities only.

This blind and illegal extra pricing hit my nerves so hard that my mind was in a state of shock, but unfortunately, as a seller, you can’t do anything about if he/she wants to sell his/her property he/she must have to pay those hefty maintenance chargers whether he bare land or a luxury house.

My point is why we are being forced to pay these maintenance charges for a property that doesn’t have those utilities. Maybe we haven’t raised this issue so far to the authorities, I have addressed this issue because I have learned this illegal acts in my country.
