Is the world changing?

Although the obvious answer you think might be yes indeed, given the current circumstances of the world we live in, I would not be surprised if still, a majority of people turns out to be thinking that all that happens these days, will blow over eventually and not drastically change the way we live. Whether that is from ignorance or fear to understand what is happening.

Maybe you do realize indeed, that regardless of the virus although playing a major part the world as we know it is already going through a major shift. Regarding the way we communicate, for example, the way we work and relate, but mostly the way we view the world and think really.

Another thing that I have been thinking about more recently, which is certainly related is the education system, or systems if there are more. Turns out more often than not the school system used is not designed for a dynamic, changing world, but a static world, where the repetition of known models and workflows was a high priority. I trust I am not the only person that often if not always felt that he had a lot more to give than the school system allowed or enabled him to bring up.

But there are so many ways to learn nowadays, take online courses, take internet meetups, take email-newsletters. And then like classrooms there are as many ways and platforms to connect to people about it. Chance is now no-one is telling you that you have to. There is probably more place for personal initiative and whether or not you really want something or not.
