Education

I think about our education. When i was in school i looked forward to biology, to study and to literally learn about human body, tho that didn’t happen.

They gave me a text book listed with biological names of plant, and asked me draw a structure of a cockroach which i would kill the moment i see it.

Later, they tested me on who found what, when, how and scored me on that.

My question is why don’t they let us study today’s discovery? instead of making us study about atoms model and the idea was formed from a blueberry pudding.

I do respect our past scientist and without them we wouldn’t have been able to get here, but why study about them when today’s discovery empowers knowledge better.

Education should be about what happens now, and how to survive in today’s world.

This is the problem i have with education, we have lot to learn but they still play the same old record cause they are “certain” about it!!
