A Creative Outlet

Welcome to the first of hopefully many blog entries that maybe people will read to figure me out, psychologically speaking.

I’d like to say first that I’ve never been very good at keeping a journal (you can tell by the many many empty notebooks that have been tossed throughout my life) but I figured that now was a good time to start. I am officially an adult. I say officially because I’ve been eighteen for three months now, but due to circumstances that I’ll get to later, I haven’t done anything that counts as being an adult. So let me dig into my background a little bit.

I was born in Georgia, USA of July of 2000, making me the generation of people that remember the good days of Cartoon Network and Disney Chanel, but too young to be apart of the generation that loves shouting about being a 90’s baby. I only lived in Georgia for about a year when the military moved my family out to California. My dad (the active military member), my mom and I lived there for a couple more years before we moved to an American base in Germany. That’s where my little brother and my memories come into the story. After that we moved to Ft. Hood, Texas where, when we left, I was actually close enough to my friends that I was genuinely upset. We moved three more times (Goodfellow AFB, back to my birthplace in Georgia, and then to Ft. Huachuca, Arizona). You’re finally caught up to my sort of current living situations now. Believe me, I know it’s long, but it’s the “fun” part about being a military kid.

So since most of my story rests within my four years of high school, let’s have some fun flashbacks to then and include stories from before then (for reference and relevance).
